I tried Infolinks, they added some income but I felt they were too annoying even though I chose just 3 per page.

Just wondering, what is your opinion about info links? Did you ever try them?
Does it affect traffic negatively as you have so many outbound links if you use infolinks on many pages?
Is the payout worth it? Does it annoy visitors?

You can right click on the page and View Source to see the HTML of the page.

I tested various combos and found these to work well. Another combo may be even better but I don’t need to bother anymore since the site earns well.

Check Chitika’s blog for more ideas about combining Adsense and Chitika.

Questions:

1. Could you please post the HTML code for the blue box?

2. Do you think that Chitika would work better if it had same blue background?

3. So, should we consider your other combos in this post or not?
I don’t see them anymore on your site.

Chitika is still present on the site (in the blue box) but it shows only to search engine traffic. Adsense simply has better CTR where it is now.

I tested various combos and found the current one to work the best.

In cases like this, you need to test. Test your earnings with and without Chitika. You may have more clicks on Adsense if you don’t use Chitika.

On the other hand, those extra clicks may not bring in the same revenue as the clicks on Chitika – when it’s on. So again, test and see.

I suggest you take some screenshots of the ads and email Chitika support showing them what you see. I didn’t experience this with my Chitika ads but frankly I rarely see them – because they don’t show up here in Slovenia.

So only when I test them I see how they show up…

I am a fellow SBI-er and am trying to integrate Chitika into my site.

In general, I have not had any technical problems with the ads but what worries me a little bit is that some of the ads in one block (for example, a skyscraper) can look a bit odd.

Some of the ads seem to be “merging with each other”, with some text going behind some other text and ads looking a little bit like a mess.

Sorry I can’t refer you to a specific page with an example because all the ads are different for each visitor.

But it appears that some ads which require longer descriptions by advertisers are too big for the space allocated for them and they roll over each other looking messy.

I was wondering if you experienced anything like that with Chitika and is there any way to fix this issue?

Also, there are some ads which lack images (just showing black images) which is not very professional.

I really like Chitika and the way it works. Hope I will manage to solve this issue.
