Chitika Premium Publishers Surprise Email
I got a surprise email two days ago from Ryan Travis of Chitika.com. He sent me my monthly Premium Publishers Report which shows lots of useful stats.
I could actually get most of these stats from my account too, but it would take me some time to sort and organize them into a clear and understandable manner.
The first part shows best and worst performing channels:

My Biggest Adsense Click So Far
It’s quite hard to see how much you earn per click in [tag]Google Adsense[/tag] unless you have many channels or not much traffic or you login to your account very soon after is starts collecting data for a new day.
I have a channel set up for a page which I actually DON’T know where it is!
That page received only a few visitors yesterday and one of them clicked on an Adsense ad.
Here’s how much the click was worth:
A whopping $8,64!

Google AdSense Rant From A Pissed Publisher
Google AdSense earnings on my vacuum cleaner site have been sinking like Titanic on a cold night in 1912.
This puny little post won’t change what the 800-pound gorilla called Google does with the AdSense program, but maybe it’s a small step towards a better life as a publisher.
There are two main reasons why my earnings have dropped:
1. Google STILL allows arbitrage sites to exploit the system for pennies to get traffic to their loser sites
I have so far filtered 89 crappy Google arbitrage sites that are allowed to bid very low on the content network and receive traffic to their Overture ads-based sites.

Chitika Launches Premium Publishers Program
Chitika officially launched their Premium Publishers program yesterday which gives special services to “outstanding” publishers.
Some of these services are:

What’s Your Real CTR?
I often come across forum posts where people complain about their poor CTR in Adsense.
But in my opinion the Adsense CTR numbers don’t tell you the real story.
Adsense stats report clicks / page impressions and that’s your adsense Click Through Ratio.
What is important is the real CTR which for means how many of the visitors clicked on something!
I love to combine Adsense and Chitika and occassionaly sneak in an Amazon affiliate link.
So the real question is whether your overall CTR is good.

Why So Many People Fail Online
If you want to be successful in anything you do, it takes time.
It takes time to learn the fundamentals of tennis strokes, playing a violin or driving a car and it takes time to learn the fundamentals of earning money online.
This can take you from a few weeks to many months, depending on:
1. Your source of information:
- is it accurate,
- does it guide you with a step by step process
- does it offer simple tools to get you started
2. You
- are you disciplined enough to follow through

How I Increased My Daily Adsense and Chitika Earnings by 20% in 10 Minutes
This is a very simple idea so it’s going to be quite a short post.
Here’s how it all started:
I was checking my Chitika stats and noticed that some of the channels I had set up showed a much higher average pay per click than others.
I had set up the channels so that every main (Tier 2) page of the site had its own channel.
These main pages represent different brands of vacuum cleaners such as Eureka, Dyson, Oreck and others.
So I wanted to see which one pays the most per click.

AdSense and Chitika Combos That Will Skyrocket Your CTR
You probably know that one of the best ways to increase AdSense CTR (click through ratio) used to be the trick with pictures.
When AdSense ads were aligned with little photos, CTR and earnings went through the roof.
Google obviously realized this and posted an official correction to its TOS on its AdSense blog.
What you may also know is that Chitika ads include small pictures of the featured products, which make the adverts look very attractive.
I have for some time been exploring various AdSense and Chitika combos to improve my CTR in a way that complies with both AdSense and Chitika TOS.
