Knowing When To Quit – Does Your Project REALLY Have A Future?

Today I have a guest post from my good friend Stuart…

Tomaz has just come for a short visit to Malta to get a little sun and warmth. It took the opportunity to rain – a real rarity here.

While here we discussed mindset – what else can you discuss with Tomaz other than tennis??? 😉

Stuart Langridge and me in Malta

Our conversation about business and success mindset lasted several hours – you need to be a bit geeky to hang around with us – and during that time I mentioned that I had recently been listening to an Eben Pagan training course, “How to build a successful business from scratch”.

I haven’t finished it yet, but am about half way through.

The 3 Keys To Success

The 3 Keys To Success
Keys to success

What does it take to succeed in something?

Do you need to be a genius, a workaholic, a super organizer, or have a magical charisma?

I don’t think so.

There may be many elements to the puzzle of success, but you cannot miss three very important ones.

The Principle of Massive Action

A friend of mine wanted to quit her job and and use her expertise in what she loves to do – which is Pilates, aerobics, and everything in between. (Yes, there is even yoga-lates that she can teach you. 😉 )

She was really unhappy in her current job, but she didn’t believe she could find enough lessons for herself in the somewhat crowded field of fitness and related topics.

Why You’re Stuck And How To Get Things Moving Again

Why You’re Stuck And How To Get Things Moving Again

Being StuckEver found yourself stuck in a situation regarding your online business or some other endeavor, where you were stuck and couldn’t move forward?

Did you keep postponing the thing that had to be done, while some other tasks were moving forward with no problems?

For example, I got stuck with a logo design once. I was ready with the content and general design of the site, and yet I still didn’t get the logo done.

Once a small lever was broken in my bathroom; it was the one that changed the bathtub faucet into a shower.

At first I wasn’t really aware of what was going on, but eventually I realized what the reason was. I had to use the pliers to switch between the faucet and the shower head, and even though that was a pain, I still didn’t fix the problem for quite a while.

The Fastest Way To Produce Content

The Fastest Way To Produce Content

I’ve recently been experimenting with different ways of producing content – and by that I mean written content like this article for example.

My view is that we have a limited amount of time in this world but there’s an unlimited amount of money out there – and in reality 99.999999% of us will not die in bankruptcy.

time is money

So that means we’ll have money in our accounts until the last day. So why not trade it for time?

The Power of Momentum

The Power of Momentum

Have you seen the movie Unstoppable? It’s a movie about a huge train gone wild with no one controlling it.

That train had massive momentum and it was very hard to stop.

It is of course also very hard to move such a big mass into movement from static state.

That’s because when an object is static, it is also affected by static friction – compared to the object in movement which is only affected by kinetic friction.

Why the heck am I talking about physics and friction on a blog about internet marketing? 😉

Because when it comes to productivity, things are almost the same in physics and working from home.

Don’t Be Fooled By Your Mind Again… Get Things Done.

Don’t Be Fooled By Your Mind Again… Get Things Done.

I’ve shared a simple productivity tip a few days ago at the conference in London. It’s called Do It Now.

All you need to do is to put up a sign Do It Now! above your desk or PC and every time you consider postponing your task, the sign will remind you that you should do it now.

You’ll find that if you just deal with everything that comes at you (emails, to do list, …) immediately, you’ll become very productive.

But soon there were more and more ideas shared on Facebook on which books can help you improve your productivity even more.

But my feeling is that it’s just another trick of our mind. Here’s why…
