Yes, I do, but I recommend you submit only one article to each article submission site. Just to get a link from a different domain, that’s all.

Also, Panda affects your site based on content, not on links. And these article submission sites still receive tons of free traffic even if they have been affected by Panda. And most likely they’re working hard to fix the situation…

First, there are tons of related sites which are not your competitors that might agree to some kind of cooperation.

Second, see where your competitors get links and try to get them there too.

And third, don’t think just about link exchanges – they are not really valuable. Guest posts are much better.

Yes, Google will definitely see those articles as duplicate content. It won’t penalize you, it will penalize the article.

That article will not rank well – only one of those will. Google does not want under any circumstance rank #1 and #2 exactly the same content – imagine the waste of time for someone checking those sites.

If you understand this logic, then you understand the duplicate content penalty. What I don’t know for sure, is how the backlinks from those penalized articles are counted.

I believe they are worthless as Google team knows exactly what people with massive article marketing schemes are up to.

Also, if that competitor is doing well, it’s not because they have articles on ezinearticles or goarticles. That’s like 1% of the link power of a good site.

All the rest are links that come from many different related authority sites.

After researching the backlinks of my competitors, I noticed that one in particular submits the EXACT same article to EZine, GoArticles, and a few others. Does this count as duplicate content? Will Google penalize you for that kind of short-cut? (She seems to be doing fine.)

And also, how effective is that technique for improving rankings and traffic?

Just wondering, when submitting to SearchWarp, should I check the box “Reprint Rights Allowed”?

I just realized, after submitting to them for a few years, that if you do that they remove the no-follow tags. I didn’t know that until I recently read their Article Submission FAQs.

Here’s the info…

Q. Does SearchWarp use ‘rel=nofollow’ in external hyperlinks?

A. Yes we do. To remain true to our mission, we do. Adding the ‘nofollow’ attribute does not hinder readers from clicking on the links in any way. Articles which allow reprint rights are made available without nofollow links.

Based on that, I would assume checking the “Reprint Rights Allowed” box would be okay. But I want to make sure there before I do that.
