When it comes to SEO, title optimization is the key to ranking well. With little imagination, you can actually optimize your title for multiple keywords.

It’s one of those things that are in fact all the time right in front of your nose and yet you can’t see them. ;)

How do you optimize an article for multiple keywords?

Should you use all of them in the URL?

Isn’t an article optimized just for one keyword?

How To Identify High Pagerank Websites On The Links / Resources Pages

Have you ever come across a links / resources page that was linking to 20 or more websites and you wanted to know which of those sites have high Pagerank?

You would usually do this if you wanted to get in touch with the other webmasters and establish some kind of cooperation.

Pagerank is a quick way to see how trusted the site is in Google’s view but of course is not the definitive answer. You’d still need to take a look at their estimated traffic and the quality of content. Read more

Don’t Be Fooled By Your Mind Again… Get Things Done.

I’ve shared a simple productivity tip a few days ago at the conference in London. It’s called Do It Now.

All you need to do is to put up a sign Do It Now! above your desk or PC and every time you consider postponing your task, the sign will remind you that you should do it now.

You’ll find that if you just deal with everything that comes at you (emails, to do list, …) immediately, you’ll become very productive.

But soon there were more and more ideas shared on Facebook on which books can help you improve your productivity even more.

But my feeling is that it’s just another trick of our mind. Here’s why… Read more

There’s been a huge algorithm change by Google a few days ago and it has affected hugely some of the sites. A couple of mine too…

The drop in traffic looks like this:

At first the drop looked so severe that I thought the servers where I host my site were down but I soon found out that my site was almost completely removed from Google’s index.

After some Googling I found the post from on Seroundtable.com describing what might have happened with the latest Google ranking changes.

It looks like Google is after duplicate content and is penalizing the sites with duplicate content. Read more

When you’re starting your first online business with a website, you should do careful research with the tools available (overall demand and competition of your main keywords).

But you can also overdo it.

The problem with decisions at the beginning is that you have NO experience. All your potential decisions are based on a theory and you KNOW that you really DON’T KNOW what works and what doesn’t.

So you don’t really trust any of your decisions. Read more

Andrew has achieved financial freedom at 26 after less than 3 years with SBI. True, he decided to live in Asia where you need less monthly income than in the West to support yourself, but that’s still a remarkable achievement.

Today I woke up to the crowing of a rooster in paradise. An hour later I was running alongside the rice fields of Bali, enjoying the unbelievable views and the friendly farmers who called out good morning, “selamat pagi!” Read more

I got an email from Jo who was asking me for a review of his link exchange email and he agreed that I can post our Q&A.

At least I can help with one link – since they’re so darn difficult to get… ;)

Here’s our Q&A:

Jo: I’ve been doing my best on manually trying to get links, by using Yahoo site explorer. So far I haven’t gotten a single reply from the websites I’ve contacted, and although I know you think this is probably normal, I would like to send my template email to you for review just to make sure (you can find it below). The Key To Gaining Organic Links – It’s Not Only Quality Content!

The sweetest links are organic links. These are the types of links that happen without your direct effort – it simply means that someone has linked to your site or page because they liked it.

If you agree with the above statement, then notice the word LIKE.

Someone must like your site to link to it. Of course, they can simply like the content – it can simply be just very useful like the Wikipedia type of content where there’s mostly massive amounts of text on the page and very few (or none) other elements (pictures, graphics, videos, forms, etc.).

These types of sites do get organic links but they must really have an authority status and be well known to get them.

Most other sites get links from fellow webmasters and bloggers because they like the content AND they like the looks of the site.
