I think that the main reason why so many people fail online, and I know why, is because people don’t persist. They tend to give up when things are not working for them. If you get into a good and solid program, do the work and never give up no matter what.

When you don’t give up and do what is necessary to succeed, you are that much closer to real success online.

Although there are very few barriars to entry in this business, it is still a tough place to make money. I’m about 7 months in, and still climbing a very steep learning curve, but I’m learning every day.

I agree. To be in any type of business owner you need to be dedicated, have a great marketing plan, and never quit to succeed.

Many people get into businessess and expect it to be run like a job where a boss stands over them and schedules their day. Business owners need to be able to motivate themselves to get the job done.

The people who quit usually don’t put enough time and energy into the business, then they don’t see the results of someone who does and they get discouraged and quit.

There is one more reason not usually stated: People can’t find a viable niche, one that will be salable.

So far, that’s been the case with me. In SBI’s Niche forum there are people who’ve had SBI for months and still can’t find something that will make money. Also, even after you find something viable, you need credibility which lots of ordinary people can’t muster up if they’re not absolute experts.

At least when it comes to affiliate marketing 95% of the people trying it fail.It takes time to build the traffic you need to make any money online, and most people does not have the patience required.It is also hard work that is needed every day building that traffic.
